Privacy Policy

Pushkey is private by design. No account, no analytics, no advertising. The camera counts your reps on your iPhone, and the video never leaves it.

Pushkey lets you earn screen time by exercising. You pick apps to lock, do a short set of push-ups or another movement in front of your iPhone’s camera, and Pushkey unlocks those apps for the minutes you earned.

Information we do not collect

Pushkey does not require an account and does not send personal information to us or to anyone else.

We do not collect:

  • Name, email address or phone number
  • Photos, video or audio
  • Body pose or movement data
  • Your workout history
  • Which apps you lock or how you use them
  • Location data
  • Analytics or crash data
  • Advertising identifiers

Pushkey contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code.

Camera

Pushkey uses the front camera only while you are doing a set. Each video frame is analyzed on your iPhone, using Apple’s on-device body pose detection, to count your reps. Frames are processed in memory and then discarded. Video is never recorded, saved or uploaded.

Screen Time

Pushkey uses Apple’s Screen Time framework to lock and unlock the apps you choose. Apple gives Pushkey only private tokens for those apps, not their names or your activity in them. Your choices and the unlock state stay on your iPhone.

Workout history and settings

Your sets, reps, earned minutes, streak and settings are stored only on your iPhone. They are not uploaded or synced, and deleting Pushkey deletes them.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Pushkey shows local notifications from your iPhone, for example to open a workout from a locked app. They are not sent through our servers.

In-app purchases

Pushkey offers an optional Pro subscription and a lifetime purchase. Apple processes all purchases through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.

Beta testing

If you test Pushkey through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports, usage information and feedback you choose to send with us, according to Apple’s TestFlight terms. We use this only to fix and improve Pushkey.

Children’s privacy

Pushkey does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
